All of the properties will have 4 or 5 double bedrooms but, just as at home, you don’t have to use them all. A house of this size is necessary to have a spacious ground floor area with a large living room and maybe a dining room, study or playroom as well; a terrace for lunches and for dining under the stars and a good-sized swimming pool; and perhaps a tennis court, hot-tub, hammam or pool table too. When you arrive at one of the houses, you want as many of the
comforts of a 5-star hotel as possible, plus the freedom and
security of your own home. You want the lawns to be mown, the
swimming pool to be clean, the beds made, the wine chilled and lunch
or dinner ready to be served AND you want to be able to relax by the
pool without other people’s children (and without having to battle
for a chair and umbrella), to wear what you like, eat what and when
you like, and to skinny dip in the moonlight if you wish. As
important as anything, you want to be safe. In this turbulent world,
a private house is much safer than a hotel for the whole party - and
especially for the children.
Each house will be looked after by a housekeeper/cook who will prepare meals. There will be maids, as necessary, plus a part-time gardener/pool maintenance person, so you will be well looked after.
